The Use of Cookies

We use so called Cookies on different pages in order to keep a visit to our Website attractive and to enable the use of certain functions. These are small text files which will be stored on your computer. Some of the Cookies used by us will be deleted after your Browser has been logged off (so called session cookies). Other Cookies remain on your computer and enable us to recognize your Browser when visiting us again (persistent cookies). You may adjust your Browser in a way to inform you about the placing of Cookies and to decide individually to accept them or not or to exclude the acceptance of Cookies in certain cases or in general. If you do not accept Cookies, the functionality of our Website might be restricted.

The Use of Google Analytics for Web Analysis

This Website uses Google Analytics, a Web Analysis Service of the Google Inc. (www.google.de). Google Analytics uses so called “Cookies”, text files which are stored on your computer and which enable you to analyze the use of the Website. The information given by the Cookie on your use of this Website will generally be transferred to a server of Google in the USA and stored there. In the case of activating the IP-Anonymizing on this Website, your IP-Address will be shortened, however, within the member states of the European Union or in other contract states of the agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases the complete IP-Address will be transferred to a Server of Google in the USA and be shortened there. The IP-Anonymizing is active on this Website. By order of the operator of this Website, Google will use this information in order to evaluate your use of this Website, to write reports on the activities on this Website and to provide further services regarding the use of the Website and the internet to the Website operator. The IP-Address transferred from your Browser within the frame of Google Analytics will not be added to other data from Google. You can avoid the storing of the Cookies by a respective function of your Browser-Software; however, we inform you that, in this case, you might not be able to use all the functions of this Website completely.

The Use of Social Plug-Ins of Facebook, Google+, Twitter by using the “2-Click-Solution”

We use so called Plug-Ins (“Plug-Ins”) of the social networks Facebook and Google+ and of the Microblogging-Service Twitter on our Website. These services are provided by the companies Facebook Inc., Google Inc. and Twitter Inc. (“provider”).

Facebook is operated by the Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). You will find an overall view of the Plug-Ins from Facebook and their appearance under this address: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/

Google+ is operated by the Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA (“Google”). You will find an overall view of the Plug-Ins from Google and their appearance under this address: https://developers.google.com/+/web/

Twitter is operated by the Twitter Inc., 1355 Market St, Suite 900, San Francisco, CA 94103. You will find an overall view of the Twitter-Buttons and their appearance under this address: https://twitter.com/about/resources/buttons

In order to increase the protection of your data when visiting our Website, the Plug-Ins are integrated in the site with the help of the so called “2-Click-Solution”. This integration ensures that when visiting one of our Websites including such Plug-Ins, a connection to the servers of Facebook, Google and Twitter will not be made. Only by activating the Plug-Ins and, thus, agreeing to a transmission of your data, your Browser will directly connect to the servers of Google, Facebook or Twitter. The content of the respective Plug-Ins will then be transmitted directly from the respective provider to your Browser and integrated to the page. By integrating the Plug-Ins the provider receives the information that your Browser has visited the respective page of our Website even if you do not have a profile at the respective provider or have not logged in. This information (including your IP-Address) will be transmitted directly from your Browser to a server of the respective provider in the USA and will be stored there. If you interact with the Plug-Ins, for example by clicking on the “Like” – the “+1” or the “Twitter”-Buttons, the respective information will also be transmitted directly to a server of the provider and be stored there. The information will also be published in the social networks or on your Twitter-Account and be shown to your contacts there.

Information on the purpose and volume of the data recorded and the further processing and use of the data by the provider and your rights and possibilities to protect your privacy can be found on the notice of data protection of the provider.
